Smart Farming / greenhouse integration

Commercial greenhouse supplies for a connected growing plan

Plan sensors, screens, irrigation and controls around the structure you intend to buy. Product compatibility depends on the named equipment and interfaces, not the word “smart” in a brochure.

Discuss Integration Requirements

Sequence the integration questions

01

Observe

List the temperature, humidity and irrigation measurements required by the growing plan. Confirm sensor positions, calibration records and the conditions each reading represents.

Open procurement question

Who supplies the sensors and documents the calibration method?

02

Connect

Name the controller, input types and communication interfaces. Ask the supplier to map each connection and identify any gateway, cable or software license excluded from the price.

Open procurement question

Can the named components exchange the required signals?

03

Act

Define vent motors, screens, valves and fertigation controls. Request manual operating procedures and the intended response when a sensor or communication link fails.

Open procurement question

Which actions continue safely without the network?

04

Verify

Agree commissioning observations, record formats and responsible parties. Compare the proposed test against the requested functions before accepting a bundled controls package.

Open procurement question

What written record demonstrates each requested function?

Compare supply choices by their interfaces

Scope A

Climate and screening

Natural ventilation can reduce equipment scope but depends on site and weather conditions. Mechanical cooling adds power, water and maintenance requirements. Ask for the design assumptions, evaporative cooling pad specification and service access plan.

Scope B

Water and fertigation

Specify water analysis, filtration, flow and pressure at the relevant connection. A drip irrigation emitter or fertilizer injector should be matched to water conditions and crop practice; the component name alone does not establish system compatibility.

Scope C

Telemetry and operation

Remote visibility can support review, while an internet-dependent control arrangement introduces connectivity and account responsibilities. Request data export options, access permissions, subscription costs and a local manual mode.

Documents connect the parties

These labeled document tiles replace partner logos; no supplier partnership is claimed.

Structure drawing

Dimensions, bays, covering, local loads and mounting points.

Control schedule

Signals, power, actuators and software responsibilities.

Commissioning record

Named tests, observations, exceptions and sign-off boundary.

Compare premium and budget-oriented packages using the same function list. A lower controller price may omit gateways or commissioning. Ask for separate equipment, subscription, spares and support costs before accepting an alternative.

Operating responsibilities

The numbers organize a document review. They do not represent installed projects, water savings or yield gains. Greenhouse inquiry options remain subject to product-specific confirmation.

Request a connected-scope quotation

Share the structure and covering, dimensions and bay layout, controls, quantity, destination and seasonal delivery requirement. Mark open choices so factories can propose distinct alternatives.
